Another playdate......

We've been walking every morning with Kristy and Kelly. We went walking this morning and then headed to McDonald's for lunch. The kids had a great time as well as the adults! Then we went to Kristy's house and had cupcakes. Yesterday was her birthday and we wanted to celebrate. It was a surprise for her and I think she liked it! I took some pictures of the kids playing at her house. It was so HOT!
Brock & Mary Elizabeth enjoying the sand.

Everyone having fun on the swingset.

Kristy, Kelly,& me.....I couldn't find the timer on my camera, so I let Brock take the picture. He's my little photographer!!

The best we could do with all the kids together....Kate was sleeping

I love this picture of Braxton. Look how he's sitting....he's saying...Oh, yea, look at the ladies...Ha

I'm back.....

Sorry I've been out of touch lately. We've been very busy! We went to Arkansas for a week and returned home on Wednesday. We had a really good time and enjoyed visiting with all our family up there!
Thursday I had to take Braxton to the doctor. He kept running a high fever, was really fussy, and just wasn't acting himself. He had an ear infection. I felt so sorry for him. I decided on the shot verses 10 days of antibiotics. He seems to be feeling much better now.
Mom and I went shopping on Thurs. and Friday looking for decorations for their new house. It was fun helping her! It's gonna look so good when they get moved in!
Then, friday night we had relay for life. The whole town gets involved to raise money for cancer patients. They had all kinds of booths and inflatables (sp?) for the kids. We all had a really great time! Early Saturday morning (from 2:00-3:00AM) Mitchell and I had signed up to walk, but when we got there, we didn't see anyone. It had rained really hard and everyone decided to go home. So, needless to say, we turned around, went back home, and went to bed.
My mom left early Saturday morning. She stayed so we would have someone with the kids while we walked.
Monday we had a playdate with Kristy and Kelly. We walked while the kids played. Then we went to the park and I was able to snap a few pictures.
So, that catches everyone up on what we've been doing lately. I'll try not to go so long without posting something. Hope everyone has a great week!
Oh, Allison, I took advantage of the cute play outfits at Wal-Mart. Thanks for letting everyone know!
Mary Elizabeth & Sara Kate swinging together. They loved it!!

Brock & Max had a great time climbing

I LOVE this picture of them!! They say to each other, "You're my best friend!" Isn't that sweet??

My sweet little Braxton enjoyed playing too! Everytime I tried to take a picture of him walking, he would sit down.

Such an adorable picture of Kate!

Abbey decided to sit down and take a breather.

Special Prayer Request!!!

There is a couple that my parents go to church with in Arkansas that have a little baby girl who NEEDS your prayers! I am also friends with them and have known the mother all her life. Their names are Kristy and Josh Dement. They have a little baby girl who is 7 months old and was diagnosed with Krabbe (French word) disease. They found out a couple of days ago and the doctors told them there is nothing they can do. This is a very rare disease. The doctor told them that this is the first case he's seen in 10 years. It has something to do with a chromosone. She will start losing weight, eventually go blind and deaf, and then will have to be put on a feeding tube. They only give her about 6 months to live. What's even more sad is that Kristy and Josh share the same chromosone, so they will never be able to have another baby. They will have to adopt. Please, please pray for this family! You don't realize how blessed you are with happy, healthy children, until you hear a story like this one! I can't imagine what they must be going through! We do know, however, that God is so good and he does answer prayers!! Please pray for the parents strength and their little girls health. Thanks to you all!
