Kristy, sorry it's taken me so long to do this. I've been out of town and extremely busy!!

The Six Word Memoir

This idea came from the book by Larry Smith and Rachel Fershleiser called Not Quite What I Was Planning: Six Word Memoirs by Writers Famous and Obscure . The book is a compilation that is based on the story that Hemingway once bet ten dollars that he could sum up his entire life in just six words. His words? For Sale: baby shoes, never worn.

Here are the rules:

1. Write your own six word memoir.

2. Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.

3. Link to the person that tagged you in your post and to this if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.

4. Tag five more blogs with links.

5. And don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play!

My six words are:
I couldn't decide between the two, so here they are:
Small things are the greatest things!!
Life is good because of God!

The 5 people I tag are......
1. Liz Wakefield Smilings my Favorite
2. Tammy Frederick Musings of a Momma
3. Cara Jobe A,B,C,D.....K
4. Abbie Greer The Greer Family Blessings
5. Tesney Davis Mini Vans and Mom Jeans

I don't know how to put people's links in this post. If any of you know how, please leave me a comment and let me know how to do it. Thanks!

We're back and we're tired.....

We arrived home at 1:30 this morning (Thurs.). That's right, we decided to take a night road trip. It really wasn't all that bad. The kids slept most of the way which made it an easy trip for my parents and me. But I'm exhausted today! It sure it good to be home!!
I wanted to wish my husband a (late) Happy Father's Day!! We were busy on Sunday and I was unable to get on the computer.
We are so blessed to have a wonderful husband and daddy like you!! Thank you for being such a hard worker and great provider!! We love you so much!!

Trying not to laugh....

at my four year old while in Wal-Mart yesterday. He kept touching EVERYTHING and running ahead of me....basically not listening. So, I finally stopped him, looked him in the eye and said, "I want you to hold on to this cart and if you let go, I'm going to spank you in front of all these people in this store." Brock, being the little comedian that he is, then said, "Momma, this isn't a store, it's Wal-Mart." How in the world do you keep a straight face when your children say such funny things? After turning my head to laugh a little, I then said, well you're right, it is Wal-Mart, but you better start minding. Oh, the things that little ones say...

No more curls....

While we were in Arkansas, it was decided (by my husband) that Braxton should have his curls cut. I think it was due to the 4 different people that came up to Mitchell and called Braxton a GIRL!! I know he's beautiful....but come on people!
So, we had his hair cut and my baby no longer looks like a baby! He looks like a little toddler. I guess he's not going to be a baby forever!
All curls...

Last picture with baby hair..
