Thankful Thursday!!

Today I am thankful for "old" friends!! You know, the kind of friends when you see them again, you pick up right where you left off (even if it's been a few years!). I was able to meet up with a couple of old friends that I went to high school with and cheered with. We started off at Pump it Up and then went out to eat at Shorty Small's. The kids had such a great time playing together and the adults had a great time catching up! I was able to get a few pictures.

I'm so glad to know that even though lots of miles separate us, I will always have two very dear friends in Arkansas. Thanks for such a fun time tonight!!

Brock has started something new while visiting Nana and PawPaw....he loves to climb the columns!! We weren't too sure of it at first, but he's very good at it!! He kept trying until he reached the top. He amazes me at the things he can do! Here's a picture of Brock in action....

Old, but dear friendships........

We are in Arkansas right now having a great time and staying very busy! We decided to take a trip up here because, Mitchell, is having a busy work week, and you all know how I love to come back to my "old stomping ground." Anyway, we decided to go to church with my Aunt tonight because it was family fun night. After worship we went to a cookout/carnival. They had such good food there and big blow up jumping things (I don't know what else to call them?) that the kids stayed on about the entire 2 1/2 hours we were there. But the best part about the whole trip was running into a very dear friend of mine. She attends worship services with my Aunt. Her name is Kacey and she has two of the sweetest children! Their names are Hadden and Hudson and they are twins (aren't those cute names??!). Luckily, I had my camera with me and was able to get a picture.

The children are all about the same age and they had such a great time playing together! I'm even more excited about coming up here now because I have an old friend to look up!

Bringing back the tie-died......

While in Montgomery, my sister-in-law, nieces, Mary Elizabeth, and I decided we would try our hand at making tie-died t-shirts. We had a really good time making them and I think Valla(my sister-in-law)and I were more excited than the kids!! I was really impressed with the way they turned out! I found out a way to add fringe(sp?) on the sleeves and bottom of the shirt. I think Mary Elizabeth's shirt is just totally RAD!!!

Shopping at the crack of dawn!!

While we were in Montgomery, my sister-in-law, nieces, and I decided to wake up at 4:30 in the morning to get ready and go to Santuck. If you've never been, you need to go. It's this HUGE outdoor flea market/craft booths/boutique booths. For those of you who like to shop and find a bargain, I suggest you go. It's the first Saturday of every month. We had such a great time and found a lot of cute stuff!!
I was able to take a picture of the girls before we started shopping. This was at 6:00 AM. My nieces, left to right, Brooke, Micayla, Brittney, and my baby girl, Mary Elizabeth(she was a real trooper!).

Issues.....

Sorry it's been a while, we're having internet issues. I don't know when I'll be able to blog again. We're all doing great! Just traveling a lot and staying busy. We've been in Mont. for the past two weekends and the last week of this month we will take our first beach trip in 2 years (whooo-hooo)!! I'm so excited!!
I hope our issues are resolved soon because I'm having SERIOUS withdrawls!!
