Out of town....

We left on Friday afternoon headed to Arkansas to help mom & dad move the last few items from their old house to the new one. We moved their stuff on Saturday and then went out to eat. My brother, sister-in-law, and kids were able to come for a visit and help move too. We had a really good time and the kids did too!
Yesterday we went to church and rested. This morning, Mitchell, headed back to Alabama to finish out their last week of school (wipe tear). I miss him already! The kids and I are staying this week and will return home on Friday. Mom and dad are coming back with us. So, it may be a while before you hear from me again. We have lots to do! Mom wants me to help her decorate the new house, and by the way, it looks great! We also have some shopping to do (imagine that!).
I hope you all have a great Memorial day and I look forward to reading all of your blogs!

Poor Braxton....

Just when Braxton was feeling a little better, he fell in M.E.'s room this morning and got a HUGE knot/bruise on his forehead. I felt so sorry for him!! Mitchell said we should not take him out in public for a while because people will think we're beating him! HaHa He has so many bruises on his head right now. We've gotta get him all better because we're heading to Arkanasas on Friday.
I love this picture of him!

Look at that goose egg!!

Baby boy is sick...

I thought Braxton was just teething because he had the normal symptoms: runny nose, nasty diapers, fever, not eating, drooling, and VERY clingy! But after getting about 2 hours of sleep for the past two nights (this includes Mitchell) I decided something had to give. So, off to the doctor we went. Baby boy has Strep!
I felt so sorry for him! His throat looked horrible! The doctor told me he is very contagious for the next couple of days until the antibiotics kick in. He said I should keep him away from my other two children (that won't be hard at all!!Ha). So, please just pray that they won't get it and Mitchell and I won't get it either. I hope you feel better soon sweet baby!

Outside time.....

We all spent some time outside this past Saturday. Our yard and flower bed was needing some TLC in a very bad way. I knew Mitchell was cleaning out the flower bed but when I went outside, this is what I saw.....

He had found an old clothes hamper and put a big trash bag inside it. This is what I would like to call a poor man's wheel barrell. HaHa I think I know what I'm getting you for Father's Day, Baby! Brock was so sweet helping Dadddy! He's such a great helper!

A fun get together.........

Last night we went over to Kelly's house. They invited us to eat hamburger's and hotdogs. The food was delicious! I made a birthday cake for Kelly and we had a little celebration. Her b-day is not until the 27th but we'll be gone next week so we decided to eat cake last night. I will post more pics later. We've been pretty busy around here!
This is Kelly's cake.

Spring football game......

Last night we went to the spring football game. It didn't go as well as planned. They lost. With a lot of hard work ahead of them, we'll see how the fall goes.
I was able to take some pictures after the ballgame. We always go to the field house after the ballgames and see our husbands and then socialize. It took a while to get the kids together to take a pic, but I think they turned out really cute!
Mary Elizabeth and her new friend Molly. They will be in the same grade in school.

All the kids after the ballgame (except Max-they had already left) Left to right-

Playin' church and takin' baths.......

Today we've stayed around the house and rested. We've been pretty busy lately! Yesterday we went to Huntsville to this really neat playground. We had a picnic lunch and the weather was wonderful! Kristy, Kelly, and my cousin Martha met us there. After we left the park, we couldn't go back to Arab without going to Target. I found a really cute shirt for Sissy! I just love that store!
Mary Elizabeth came into the living room carrying all these babies. She placed them very carefully on the couch and then sat beside them. I asked her, "Mary Elizabeth, what are you doing?" She said (as if I should have known), I'm at church and these are my babies. I started laughing so hard!! I know I shouldn't have in front of her, but I couldn't contain myself. These are her babies names (from left to right) Sassy, Tiger, Sara, Brinkley, and Alex. Cute names, huh?!!

Busy weekend.....

We left on Friday headed to Mont. to my brother and sister-in-laws house. When we arrived, Mitchell and his brother headed down to Ft. Walton beach for a memorial service for his cousin who was killed in Iraq a year ago.
On Saturday, I met up with some friends and their children at Burger King. I had a great time seeing them again and really made me miss them since I don't get to see them very much anymore. And for those of you who couldn't make it....I missed not seeing you. I got a couple of pictures of our children and of the "Hot Momma's" (as we like to be called..Ha). After a great lunch, we headed to the mall.....7 kids and me!! It's not as bad as it sounds. Four of the seven are my nieces and nephews. They were actually a big help to me! We had a really good time! We visited with family that night and went to church the next morning at Landmark. They have the most BEAUTIFUL singing at that congregation! After a quick lunch, we went to Pratt. and visited with Mitchell's Aunt Becky and Uncle Bill. The kids had a good time at their house. We headed home and finally arrived around 7:30. We were so tired!! Today I did some catching up on laundry and housework. So, that catches you up on everything. Oh, I almost forgot, today was the first day of spring training for the Varsity football team. Mitchell was really excited and said they had a really good day today! I can't believe it's already time for football again! Hope all of you have a GREAT week!
Here is a picture of all our kids....back row, Josie, Anna, Mary Elizabeth, Cade, Olivia, and Luke. Front row...Garrett, James, and Maddie. Not pictured, Brock, he really doesn't like to get his picture made.

The "Hot Momma's" holding their third child---this includes the pregnant one's too! Left to right....Allison holding Emma, me holding Braxton(he REALLY wanted down), Kimberly (she's having a girl), Liz holding Luke, and Ellen. I sure miss you girls!

Another playdate......

We've been walking every morning with Kristy and Kelly. We went walking this morning and then headed to McDonald's for lunch. The kids had a great time as well as the adults! Then we went to Kristy's house and had cupcakes. Yesterday was her birthday and we wanted to celebrate. It was a surprise for her and I think she liked it! I took some pictures of the kids playing at her house. It was so HOT!
Brock & Mary Elizabeth enjoying the sand.

Everyone having fun on the swingset.

Kristy, Kelly,& me.....I couldn't find the timer on my camera, so I let Brock take the picture. He's my little photographer!!

The best we could do with all the kids together....Kate was sleeping

I love this picture of Braxton. Look how he's sitting....he's saying...Oh, yea, look at the ladies...Ha
