My mom and dad came down this past weekend to go to a football game and we celebrated my mom's birthday on Saturday. We had a really good time as you can see in the pics above. My mom doesn't look at all like she's 60..oops!! does she??
We've been busy with school and friday night football. Not much to tell. I won't go into detail about the 2 ballgames they've played. Let me just say they're not doing to good. Anyway, we are having a little party for M.E. this Saturday. Her birthday is Monday(15th). She will be 4. I will post pics of the party.

Mary Elizabeth has started a mommy day out two days a week. She loves it! So, that means there are two days when I only have one child!! It is a really nice break but I sure do miss the "good ole days" when I had all my babies to myself!!

My little boy........

is all grown up! I know this post is way behind, but better late than never. Brock started Pre-K at the primary school on August 7. He goes everyday from 7:30-2:00 and LOVES every minute of it!! He has Mitchell for PE (30 min) which eases my mind that daddy is right there in case anything should happen. It's been a big change at home not having Brock around. It made me realize that my baby is all grown up and it all happened within a blink of an eye! Gone are the days of sleeping in, long days of playing outside, or traveling to Arkansas whenever we want. I sit here with a HUGE emptiness in me knowing that Brock is in the care of someone else during the day and no longer me......but I have to gather myself, realize I have so many precious memories of my sweet baby boy and know that he couldn't stay little forever! I love you so much and I will forever miss the days of when you were at home with me!! I hope you have fun at school, meet many friends, and learn a lot!!

Football Pictures.....

I still have more beach pictures to post but I wanted to do this one first. Yesterday was football picture day. I love it because that means we get a free family picture! I brought my camera along and had one of the trainer's take our picture. I thought it was funny to watch all the cheerleaders as they were getting ready to get their picture made. Before they took the picture, they called for the "make-up" woman to come powder their face. Ok, it was like 100 degrees outside and I don't think a little powder was really gonna help! I got a good laugh out of it!! Oh to be in high school again where all you have to worry about is how your make-up and hair look and which boy you'll choose to like.

Well, we're home......

We had to leave the beautiful, relaxing beach and come back home to reality
(boo-hiss)!! We had such a great time but it is good to be home!
I know Braxton, mommy didn't want to leave either!!

Happy Day............

Today is my birthday!! HoooooRAH!! It's been a great day!! We took the day off from the beach and hit the stores to do some shopping. We went to the Tanger outlets and then went to the coolest store called "The Happy Shak..Hippy Boutique." They had some neat stuff but I felt a little out of place!! The we went to Surf Style and picked up a few t-shirts and a hermit crab (for Micayla). After we ate a yummy plateful of spaghetti, we headed out to the beach to take a few pictures.
