More Pictures.....

When we got M.E.'s shoes, Brock picked out some scuba flippers that he really wanted. Daddy told him no and so he went to Nana. Do you think he got them?? Of course he did! Nana had to take some pictures of them in the van on the ride home. As soon as we got in the van, he wanted to put them on. He has worn them around the house since Saturday. Not to worry, Brock is already prepared for next year's beach trip!! It's so funny to watch him walk with the flippers on!!
Brock took the picture of Braxton. I thought he did a good job! If you notice, you will see the Alabama game in the background.....ROLL TIDE!!
I also threw in a few of my favorite pictures taken on Friday. Braxton looked so cute in his outfit, I had to take a picture!
The cheerleaders were selling swords at the ballgame and Brock had to have one. I asked him to show me his sword and snapped a picture. Mary Elizabeth got a new Arab T-shirt and wore it to the game. It's brown with pink/white polka dot letters. Those are the new thing up here!! They have sizes for adults as well (I have 2 of them!). A local boutique ordered the shirts (Coker & Berry). They're going so fast, they can't keep them in the store!
Hope everyone has a GREAT day!!!:)

Continue**Birthday...

Here are the shoes! I know, they are a little big, but she LOVES them!! She's worn them everyday and I had to hide them Sunday morning so she wouldn't wear them to church. Every year, for the kids' birthday's, we always take a picture of them together. Braxton missed out because he had already gone to night-night land. Anyway, while trying to take the pictures, Mitchell felt like he needed to POP in for one! We all had a fun time! :)
My parents drove down from Arkansas on Friday. They got there around 10:00PM just when we were leaving the football field. They left early Sunday morning. Needless to say, they were exhausted when they arrived home! Thanks Nana and PawPaw for coming down! Mam-maw and Granddaddy didn't get to make it because of prior engagements. We missed you!

Mary Elizabeth's 3rd Birthday!!

We had a really busy day on Mary Elizabeth's birthday. I took a picture after she woke up that morning. I was very surprised at how good it turned out(without her hair being fixed and no bow!! Ha). After eating breakfast and drinking coffee, we all got ready and I had to pick the cake up by 12:00. She wanted an Arab cheerleader cake. So, I found a local bakery and they made it for me. I wasn't too impressed with the way it turned out, but Mary Elizabeth loved it and that's all that matters! We had to take pictures of her in the birthday dress because there's no telling what it would look like when we got back home. We waited until Mitchell got home from the coaches meeting and then headed up to Huntsville. We ate at a restaurant called Rosie's. We love that place!! It's the BEST mexican restaurant I've ever been to! Sissy got to blow out a candle there and they gave her some balloons. Then we went to Marshall's where we found some cute shoes for M.E. She loved them so much that she had to wear them. If her daddy hadn't been there, I wouldn't have let her do it. You'll see the picture of them in the next post. I couldn't fit them all in this one. Then we went to Sally's and M.E. picked out some pretty fingernail polish with stickers to go on her nails. I might have to borrow it from her!! HeHe When we got back to Arab, we went to Wal-Mart (of course) and let her pick out a few things she wanted. Then, we had to get back home for the Alabama game. I took a picture of her and the toys she got. I wanted to take her to Pump It Up, but I waited to long to reserve a spot. I guess you have to call ahead like a month or two in advance.?? They were booked for the next month.
Maybe we can do that next year! I'll have to write another post to get the rest of the pictures on here. Anyway, I think she had a great day! We asked her what she wanted to do and she told us she wanted to blow out her candles. That's all she would say.....Funny!

Victory!!

WE WON Friday night!!! The score was 28-17. We played Southside-Gadsden. It was another really good game! I took over 30 pictures at the ballgame. I will be posting a lot of them......so get ready!
A few men got together and built a deck for all the coaches wives to sit on during the ballgames. Between three of us, we have 7 kids. We needed something like that!
None of the other coaches wives have children yet. Anyway, it's really nice!

Our Activities.....

We met Kristy and her two kids the other night in Guntersville at the new McDonald's. We had a lot of fun! I took a few pictures that I'll post. We're both laughing in one of the pictures, because Kate is pulling Mary Elizabeth's bow and wouldn't let go (you just had to be there---it is always kaos(sp?) when we're together!).

Last night, I took cupcakes for Mary Elizabeth's Bible class. I left my camera for the teacher to take some pictures. I thought they turned out really cute! I can't believe she'll be 3 on Saturday!!

New License Plate!

I got my new license plate in the mail yesterday and wanted to show you all. I was so excited! I know, sounds a little childish to get excited over something like this, but I was! I was going to get JHNSTN5 but if you personalize an Alabama tag, you can only use 6 letters. I still think it turned out good.
We went to a Jr. Varsity game last night. We had a good time! Brock got to go out on the sidelines with Mitchell during the game (for just a few minutes). He LOVED it!! He thinks he is a coach now and tells everyone that he is. It's really funny and cute!!
Tonight we are meeting a couple of coaches wives and eating supper at McDonalds. They have a AWESOME playroom! It's a brand new one. I'll try and take a few pictures. It's a late night for the coaches tonight, so we (the wives) thought we would start having supper together. The booster club goes up to the field house on Tuesday's to feed all the coaches (isn't that nice?!).
Hope all of you have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY!!!! :)

Go Knights!!

We went to our first football game this year on Friday night. It was away at Scottsboro. My brother-in-law and father-in-law went with me. It was about a 45 minute drive (not too bad). The team played a GREAT game but couldn't pull out a victory.:( They lost 28-23. It was one of those games that was exciting the whole time. You never knew what was going to happen next. Scottsboro had recently played Guntersville (Gunter. won the state championship last year in our division) and beat them. So, I guess you could say we are fairly good this year. The defense played the best game they've played in the past few years (they must have an AWESOME coach who really knows what he's doing :) Go Mitchell!). The kids had a great time! The first half, they ran around and played football and also played in the dirt. Mary Elizabeth got to wear her new cheerleader uniform to the game. She was so excited! I wasn't too excited when she wanted to play in the dirt, but I guess it will all come clean. The second half, we had the kids take a break, eat a snack, and watch Toy Story. The head coaches wife, Kristy, brought the DVD player, which was a huge hit! The kids looked so cute, I had to take a picture. Below is how they are sitting: Mary Elizabeth, Max (head coaches son), Harrison (his dad is one of the offensive coaches), Brock, and sitting is, Ella (her dad is the junior high principal), and I don't know the other little boys name. His dad went to Faulkner and played on the basketball team. His name is Ferron(sp?) Key. He is the Varsity Boys Basketball coach. All the kids have a really good time playing together.
Our next game is at home on Friday. We play Southside. I hope we win! I will try and take some pictures.
We didn't do too much this weekend. Mitchell had to work on football Sat. from 8-2. So we took naps that afternoon and stayed around the house. We went to church on Sun. went out to eat, then Wal-Mart, and Mitchell had to go back to work at 1:30. He didn't get home until 7:30, but the kids and I were at church. It was kinda rough taking all three to church by myself, but I survived. Mitchell had to be at work by 6:00 this morning (Mon.) for coaches meetings and then there's a Jr. Varsity game tonight he has to stay for. I think we might try to go for a little bit of the game. Needless to say, we've been a little busy. This week we have something everyday. I don't know how often I'll get to blog.
This Saturday (15th) Mary Elizabeth will turn 3!! I can't believe three years have already gone by. Time really does fly!! I have to decide what we are going to do for her party.
Hope everyone has a GREAT week!! Oh, and ROLL TIDE!!

More Pictures....

Sorry! I don't know how to blog and then do another section of blogging without starting all over! Can anyone help me with this???
Here are some more pictures. Enjoy!!!

We finally got our "family" football picture back (before I left on my trip) and I thought it turned out fairly good, considering it was 105 degrees outside.

Pictures

Sorry, I think I am so tired, I forgot to attach pictures on the last blog. Some of the pictures are from the drive home. Mary Elizabeth was so tired, she fell asleep squating in her car seat (if you can picture that....but you don't have to, because mom took a picture!) I felt sorry for her, but it didn't stop me from getting a good laugh!

I Found My Way Back Home!!!!!

We're back!! We finally made it home from Arkansas! Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged! I guess I've just been too tired to blog at night and too busy during the day.
I don't even know where to begin? We left for Pocahontas, Arkansas, on Friday, August 24, and returned home last night (Tues.). On Saturday (25th) we went to see my brother and my new baby niece, Zoe. She is so precious and little! I will post a picture I took of her while there. The kids had a good time playing with their cousin Kade. Monday we went to a little town called Walnut Ridge. Mom had to take dad's truck and get new tires put on it. While there, we went to one of the old Wal-Mart's (not a supercenter). It was so neat and brought back memories. We also went to a flea market and found a lot of cute stuff. Tuesday, I got to get my hair done while my mom and aunt watched the kids. THAT WAS A GREAT DAY!!! Later that afternoon, we went to the fair parade that goes through downtown Pocahontas. The kids got excited when everyone started throwing candy! I got my camera out to take pictures, took 2, and the batteries went dead! I was so mad! So, that's why there are no pictures of the parade. After the parade, we headed off to the fair. We had a great time and rode some of the rides. Friday, I went to the eye doctor. Everything was A okay! Monday we grilled out and my grandma, Aunt Billie, and Uncle Louie came over. We had a really great time while we were there! I think I'm too tired to tell any stories right now. I know it's a boring blog.....I'll try to do better next time. I've missed everyone.....but I'm back now!!
