Family Bible School

Well, last night kicked off our Family Bible School (VBS). I've never heard it called that before; it's different. Anyway, Mitchell had team night (in other words, football practice) and had to leave around lunch time so I was left to get the kids fed, dressed, and make it on time to church. It was an experience!! Also, to top everything off, I decided to give Brock a haircut. It was utter chaos!

The woman who normally cuts his hair lives in Cullman (about 30 min away) and I didn't want to venture out on a road trip with all three kids knowing we had Bible school that night. Much to my surprise, I did a good job! After the big rush of getting myself ready (shower included), the kids ready, and the diaper bag packed, it literally looked like a tornado hit every room in our house(I kidd you not!). After loading up in the van, we were heading to church and I was telling the kids all about Bible school and getting them excited. If I would have told them earlier in the day where we were going, they would have asked me 900 questions. Then they started arguing about what class they were going to (keep in mind I had just told them they would be in class together like usual). Brock said he was going to the older class (whatever that means) with the boys and that sissy could go to the baby class. She was not happy about that! But, believe it or not, we made it to FBS on time! The kids really enjoyed it! They learned about Noah and the ark. I took a couple of pictures. I'll be taking more each night. Anyway, Leah, if you're reading, my day yesterday reminded me of your trip to Wal-Mart. Why can't we live in the same town and help each other??!!
